Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress who is mainly seen in Hindi film. Her accolades include the three Filmfare Awards. She is among India's top-paid actors. In lists of the nation's most popular stars; Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018, and she was awarded the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone was a daughter to the badminton world champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. As a teenager, Padukone competed in badminton championships, including national competitions. However, she left the sport to pursue a profession as a fashion stylist. Padukone soon got offers for films and started her acting career in the year 2006, playing the title character of her debut film Kannada film Aishwarya. Padukone also played a two-part part alongside Shah Rukh Khan in her first Bollywood release, the romance Om Shanti Om (2007) that won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female debut.
