Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu was born in America. Liu is an American actor, singer and voice actor. In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actress, she serves as a role model for numerous Asian actors working in Hollywood who want to succeed. Her early success was boosted through her participation in several popular television series. In those shows, she played the evil Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles on the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. Then, she gave an a stunning performance in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime lord O Ren Ishii. At the same time, she was also in lead roles in some box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters in animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. A recurring role in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress. Liu is very careful in choosing her roles so that she doesn't become the victim of a highly intensely competitive field. Though she has embraced her heritage, she hasn't allowed it to hinder her creativity.
